Ever heard that one ? Be prepared to hear it often , if you don't comply. All the internet providers ,  ( Google  etc. ) have banded together to fight their biggest problem , SPAM . Soon you will not be allowed into any of the systems if you do not comply with Can Spam Act 0f 2003. ( Google Search It ) All providers must also comply by setting up Spam filtering systems. SPAM is any email sent that was not REQUESTED by the recipient . Most web sites / businesses are Email Marketing in some form , creating the problem. Everybody's in-box is loaded with unsolicited advertizement. ( Just go threw yours ) AOL blocks more emails than delivered on a daily basis, but is not enough. Both your provider and the recipients provider will filter . Soon you will not be able to send an email without the recipients actual I.P. address , unless you are Replying . Basically , if you do not OPT-IN for emails , they can't send them. Most providers will require a double opt-in before they will let the email enter their system or leave . Why should you care ? Anybody paid on a 1099 basis is considered a Business and will have to comply .  Thank you for your time ,  markiec@officef5.com
