Born in Michigan, I moved to Durango after 30+ years in Denver. I have been a licensed Realtor since 1999 and joined the Coldwell Banker Company in 2005. My husband Jeff and I have always enjoyed camping, hiking and just contemplating the scenic beauty of Colorado!
I am a member of the Durango Area Association of Realtors, the Colorado Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. I am fully commited to my profession. My past service on the Denver Board Standards Committee allowed me unique access to the concerns of the community and ensured the highest standards of ethical behavior by Realtors. Fund-Raising for Habitat for Humanity and then helping build three of the homes made possible by those efforts was also a great experience. I continue to be active with Habitat for Humanity hereas well as participating in many of our local community organizations.
I have always been a full time Realtor and enjoy helping both Buyers and Sellers. I have gone through additional training to be a certified Coldwell Banker Relocation Specialist. I truly understand that Buyers, especially those new to the Durango area, can take a lot of time and education before they commit to purchasing. And my straightforward professional attitude assures Sellers of top-notch service in staging, marketing exposure, contracts, and negotiations. Whoever I am helping, I keep my clients' best interests at heart.
But if you think I'm no fun, guess again! Before my Real Estate career, I received a Business degree in Hospitality Administration and held various management positions with the Hyatt Corporation. Before that, I spent over ten years as a singer/songwriter in a band called Blackhawk. They even played at the old Farquahrt's here in Durango back in the day. So you will always get service with a smile :)
