About us
Chartered by the National Association of Realtors in1920, this year MIAMI marks 90 years of service to Realtors, the buying and selling public, and the communities in South Florida. MIAMI has grown its membership from 162 in the beginning to more than 23,000 in the present day, making it the Largest Local Association in the nation.
MIAMI is comprised of three organizations, the Residential Association, the Realtors Commercial Alliance, the Broward County Board of Governors, and the International Council MIAMI represents its professionals in all aspects of real estate sales, marketing, and brokerage at the local, State, national and international levels.
International Council and Referral Network
A shining achievement among MIAMI’s distinguished past, was the creation of MIAMI’s International Council and International Referral Network in 1996. The award winning Council is now the largest and most successful local council in the world, boasting more than 60 partnerships globally!
Award-winning International Real Estate Congress & Expo
In 1996, MIAMI and the Council launched the award-winning International Real Estate Congress and Expo, which has drawn hundreds of foreign participants who establish relationships and do business with local practitioners who also specialize in international real estate business.
Professional Development and Government Affairs
As the Educated Choice, MIAMI is dedicated to providing its members with access to premier professional development, including over 600 seminars, events, and certification and designation courses annually.
Community and Private Property Advocate
MIAMI, known as The Voice for Real Estate, vigorously advocates for private property rights thereby benefiting MIAMI members, property owners, and the local communities at large.
Jerome Bain Real Estate Institute at FIU
Sponsored by the MIAMI Association of REALTORS
The Jerome Bain Real Estate Institute at Florida International University (FIU) was created in 1998 through a gift from the MIAMI Educational Foundation. At that time, FIU had no real estate programs, but in a short period of time these were launched. Now a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Real Estate and a Master of Science in International Real Estate are available.
Awards & Recognition
MIAMI has received numerous awards and recognitions at the local, state, national, and international levels over the years. Awards have recognized excellence in meeting the needs of members, educational programming, community involvement, and leadership within the Florida Realtors (FR), National Association of Realtors (NAR), and international real estate community. Top honors have also been awarded to the Association in the area of communications and publications, education, and civic involvement. MIAMI and the International Council have also received awards from NAR, Florida REALTORS, the U.S. Commercial Service, the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, and publications - and have also been recognized by foreign associations.

When recieving a REO Listing from a Bank/Outsourcer/Lender that will be a listing! The assignment is to complete a Exterior BPO previously to the Listing of this property! The Broker then completes the BPO assignment, his/her (Broker's) response back to the Servicer for the BPO is? "AS IS", "WHERE IS", value? What does this mean? Please comment or explain this to the group, I would like everyone's opinion. I will share my answer with the group by the end of July, and thanks to all. James

I have been a member of first, The Miami-Beach Realtor Association since the early 1980's -later, MBRA merged with The Greater Miami Association of Realtors, then it seems that all the smaller associations merged into ONE... MIAMI REALTORS® ≈ We have a strong Association and a very great one at that.
